China has put a hold on a proposal moved at the United Nations by the United States and co-supported by India to designate Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Sajid Mir, one of India's most wanted terrorists and the main handler of the deadly 2008 Mumbai attacks, as a global terrorist.
The Obama Administration has condemned the decision of Russia and China to veto the United Nations Security Council resolution on Syria, saying "those who voted against the resolution are on the wrong side of the history."
The Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains on the United Nation Security Council's agenda, a UN spokesman stated on Monday, and rejected the reports that suggested it had been removed from the list of unresolved issues.
